Nature inspiration is ubiquitous in my most works. I have begun exploring the nostalgia of my hometown Vancouver, flourishing with immense nature after moving to a megacity. My art-making is not to portray the physical forms of the landscape but to convey boundless vastness and the belongingness I have recollected from her vague memory. My belief in the healing power of nature and art are combined in her work—a captivating space of serenity.
