Amid the pandemic, many individuals face challenges for maintaining mental wellness, coping with anxiety and uncertainty. The future of health and wellness is free from physical illness and keeping a balance of happiness, relaxation, emotional balance, stress reduction, and quality of life. Personally, I've encountered my friends struggling with their anxiety disorders. Experiencing their struggles have given me insight into the importance and awareness of mental health disorders which anyone near us can suffer from melancholia and uneasiness. In my painting, I want to depict Vincent Van Gogh in the most content state with a glimpse of a smile. He is an ingenious figure who intensely battled with severe mental health but inspired and delivered happiness to those encountering his paintings today. I want to incorporate my desire to seek gratitude and appreciation of mundanity in a happier version of Vincent Van Gogh, imagining what if he were to be treated today, surrounded by a supportive community.
